Awards and Recognition:

Fuori Essenza was selected and screened at the prestigious “Festival nazionale di cinema europeo” held in the city of Lecce in 2022. The film's inclusion in this renowned festival showcases its artistic merit and recognition within the Southern Italian film industry.

”The movie is an independent production that explores the theme of emigration and identity.
Antonio is a young theatre actor from a little town in the South of Italy. His art is constantly misunderstood by the audience, who often mock him. The dissatisfaction pushes the young artist to escape following the ''American Dream''. With the hope of finding himself and a better place... an encounter will change the fate of the journey and Antonio’s identity.
Part of the movie has been written and part of it has been intentionally improvised.
Is the most autobiographical work of my career as a director and is the result of the fusion between theatre and cinema.
The movie is now on tour in Italy, as a series of projections supported by local organisations with the aim to discuss the phenomenon of emigration.”
