Michele Masiello is a dedicated filmmaker with a talent for visual storytelling. Most recently, the short film Ada was selected at the St Andrew Film Festival and awarded the Bruce Thompson Dissertation Prize by Queen Margaret University. Masiello's skills were also recognized by the Festival del Cinema Europeo of Lecce, which selected two of his short film projects for the 23rd edition of the festival: "Fuori Essenza" directed by Federico Cornacchia, and "La fine di Neslie" directed by Gerry Ciccimarra. Masiello served as cinematographer and camera operator in both productions, demonstrating his ability to bring stories to life through his lens. This recognition highlights his growing reputation as a young cinematographer.
In addition to these accomplishments, Michele had the opportunity to shoot several short films and some short documentaries, further honing his craft.
Aside from his work in films, Michele has a growing career in commercial and music video production, having worked with emerging and talented artists from the independent scene, both in the UK and in Italy. He has also been working as a camera operator internationally for broadcast production, expanding his expertise and experience across different formats and styles.
